ZTE today announced its latest Android smartphone, the 5-inch Nubia Z5. Details are pretty much everything that has been leaked over the last few week, including a 1920 x 1080 pixel IPS display.
Specs for the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean handset include a 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 13-megapixel camera, 2GB RAM, and 32GB internal storage. Powered by a 3,000 mAh battery, the Nubia Z5 is housed in an aluminum unibody shell and comes in at a mere 7.6mm thickness.
Expected to arrive in January, the Nubia Z5 will be headed for China with a ¥ 3,456.00 (approx. $554 US) price tag. It remains unclear whether this will come to the United States, however we do anticipate something similar to this at some point. Sprint seems like a potential carrier for a ZTE handset such as this.
