New YotaPhone will feature LCD screen on one side, E-Ink on the other

We’ve seen cool. We’ve seen awesome. But this… I just don’t know what to think about this. A new device, dubbed the YotaPhone, will feature dual screens, but probably not the way you’re thinking.

The phone will feature not only a 4.3″ LCD screen on the front, but also an E-Ink display on the reverse. While it won’t exactly be optimal for watching videos, it will give users an easy-to-read option for anything text based, even in direct sunlight or at fast-glance. The phone, which will run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, is planned to be shown at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next year, and should be shipping by Q3 of the same year to Russia. Be sure to check out the full press release below, and let us know what you think in the comments.
