As you may know, the impressive Droid Razr Maxx was released today and to make things “fair”, Verizon has decided to drop the cost of a few of its other Droid devices. The Droid 4 – yet to be released- is already receiving a price drop, from $249 to $199 on a 2 year contract. There are discounts on other Droid devices also, like the Droid Bionic, which is dropping to $149. The Droid Razr has also been marked down to $279.
Verizon might be playing favorites with the Droid Razr Maxx, but when we look at the specs- 21.5 hours of battery life, Corning Gorilla Glass, a Kevlar fiber backplate and a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED screen- it makes more sense.
So what do you think about the Razr Maxx? Do you think the drop of the other Droids shows that Verizon thinks less of them by comparison? Sound off in the comments!
