The DROID Charge is getting love recently from the guys over at Team Blackhat, including today’s leak of 2.3.4. You can find this Gingerbread goodness for Samsung’s 4G LTE device over at their site where they’ve included instructions for those brave rooted users out there.
The process includes flashing back to previous firmware, receiving multiple OTA updates, then flashing the leak. Worth it? We’ll let you be the judge on that decision. There are two known bugs as stated on the site, including some Market apps not appearing (due to it being a leak), and in some cases music streaming sometimes cuts out. But it does bring a working Netflix function, and full HDMI compatibility.
The overall consensus on this release though, is that 2.3.4 is much more stable than the 2.3.3 leak. If you decide to flash, have fun and be safe. Make backups. You can access the download links and full instructions by clicking the source link below.
